About the Owner
Hi, my name is Jim Britton and I am the founder and owner of Britton Homes. I have been in the building business in various capacities since 1979 doing remodeling, subdivisions and custom homes. In 2000 I decided to leave the square foot driven arena of new home construction to focus on quality home remodeling services. And while cell phones have changed a lot since I got my first one in 1992, my phone number has not. All of my customers get my cell phone number in case they need to get in touch with me at anytime.

We are committed to servicing our customers beyond their expectations and improving on that service everyday. We respect our customers and their homes and strive to provide a professional level of service that is valued far beyond its price.
Our Approach
Britton Homes is a company, not a one man operation. We have a team of highly skilled and cross trained individuals who are capable of handling many different tasks related to the remodeling business. We use skilled subcontractors that are also companies and have multiple employees capable of handling all facets of their individual trades.
You may be curious about the focus on companies and not individuals. We have structured our company this way for one reason; continuity. If one person gets hurt, sick or disappears, there will be minimal disruption to your project because there are other people who can fill in. Similarly, if something comes up on a past project, we have people who can address the problem while your project continues to move forward. Long term, there will be someone to service your project years down the road even if the owner decides to retire or, god forbid, passes away. This is not the case with a one man operation where the owner bangs nails and tries to “run his business.” A medical problem or a problem on a past project can quickly bring your project to a halt when working with a one man operation.
This structure of skilled, cross trained employees combined with skilled, redundant subcontractors gives us the ability to provide you with a smooth process now as well as service your needs years down the road. This certainty of continuity gives our customers tremendous peace of mind.
